Program Information

Accepts gently used furniture to give to the families and individuals who have been referred from other agencies in the Sioux Falls area.

Donations accepted: mattresses, box springs, and bed frames (required to be tear and stain free, smoke free, and free of pet hair);bedding including quilts, comforters, blankets, sheet sets, and pillows;coffee and end tables;couches and love seats (hide-a-beds accepted if they are in a garage or brought directly to Furniture Mission);living room chairs;rockers and recliners;kitchen tables and chairs;lamps;bookshelves;dressers;nightstands;towels and rugs;pots and pans;dishes;silverware and utensils;microwaves and small appliances;pictures and other miscellaneous household items (including stuffed animals);small TV's can be picked up;larger than 27 can be dropped off

Not accepted: large appliances, office desks, large entertainment centers, or clothing.

* The Furniture Mission encourages donors to drop off the items at the warehouse or furniture can be arranged to be picked up.

To donate furniture that is in gently used condition, tear free and stain free either drop it off at the warehouse or call to arrange to have items picked up.
