Program Information
Provides reasonably sized, affordable homes to income-qualified individuals and families. This low maintenance, energy efficient home is designed to provide ownership opportunities where income levels may have prevented previous home ownership. The simplified home design, in conjunction with the Governor's Inmate Training Program, keeps the cost of these homes affordable.
Eligibility
Governor's House Income Eligibility: Maximum income - 1 - 2 person, $66,570;3 + people, $76,080 Net Worth Limit - $125,000 ($105,000 liquid) for those 61 years of age or younger;$250,000 ($140,000 liquid) for those 62 years of age *Income limits subject to change, check www.sdhda.org to verify income limits
