Program Information
Accepts building materials and household items donated by individuals, contractors, organizations and businesses.
Accepted items:
- Air conditioners: In working order.
- Appliances: Clean and in 100% working order. Must have all knobs, trays, burners, shelves, etc. Please include owner's manuals when available, as they add value to the donation. Sold appliances come with 30 day warranty unless stated otherwise.
- Cabinets: Kitchen and bath;whole sets or individual cabinets. Medicine cabinets and counter tops are also accepted.
- Ceiling Fans: If they are complete with mounting brackets and in working condition.
- Doors: In good condition without holes, cracks, rot, etc. It is best to have the door knobs removed prior to donating.
- Electrical: Electrical parts, wires, plugs, plates, and the hardware associated with electrical wiring.
- Flooring: Non-shag carpeting without stains or worn areas. Vinyl, tile, hardwood and laminate flooring.
- Furniture: In excellent condition from non-pet and non-smoking homes only, non-waterbed frames accepted.
- Hardware: For doors, cabinets, etc. Almost all types.
- Lighting: Most non-fluorescent bulbs and light fixtures in working condition.
- Lumber: Plywood, trim, lumber 4 feet in length or greater. No rot or nails sticking out of lumber.
- Mirrors: In frame.
- Pipe: PVC, metal, copper. 4 feet and over of any type of pipe, and all supplies and fittings.
- Plumbing: Fixtures, tubs, sinks, showers and toilets in good condition and clean.
- Roofing Material: Metal roofing, guttering, soffit, etc. should be in full lengths if possible. Not able to accept rusty, bent, or damaged pieces.
- Sheetrock: Full and half-sheets.
- Tools: All lawn and garden equipment, hand and power tools;must be in100% working condition and include all parts or pieces.
- Windows: Screens in good condition. Double pane windows of all types when glass is intact. Casement type with hardware and cranks. No sashes please. Windows larger than 20 square feet need manager's approval.
Items not accepted: Mattresses, waterbed frames, curtains, window coverings, blinds, fluorescent lights and fixtures, lead based materials, scraps of lumber, water softeners, fluorescent bulbs or fixtures, small electronics, toxic materials, clothing, shoes and toys.
May be unable to receive overstocked items, due to limited storage capacity.
