Program Information
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a USDA food assistance program provided to eligible senior citizens through the Salvation Army and the Sioux Falls Food Pantry.
CSFP works to improve the health of low-income people at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods.
Those eligible will receive a commodity once a month for 6 - 12 months. The package includes a variety of food including: cereals, canned meat, canned fruits, instant milk, peanut butter, instant potatoes, and pasta products.
Delivery is only for those who are home bound or incapable of picking up the box themselves.
Eligibility
Must live in Minnehaha or Lincoln County, age 60 or older, must have an income at or below 130% of the federal poverty income guidelines.

Required Documents
Applicants must bring something with their physical address on it (ex: utility bill), income verification, and picture ID.
