Issues certified copies of birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates, for events which occurred within the state of South Dakota.
Through the web site, www.vitalcheck.com, one can also order certificates from different states.

Required Documents
Acceptable identification includes: Original or photocopy of driver's license, state ID card, tribal ID, passport or Visa, or military ID. If you do not have a government issued photo ID, you must provide a original or photocopy of two of the following: social security card, utility bill with current address, bank statement with current address, pay stub (must include your name, Social Security number plus name and address of business), or car registration or title with current address.
