Program Information

Provides a therapeutic, comfortable, peaceful and supportive respite with exciting recreational activities to qualifying veterans and their families to reconnect in a leisurely environment, at little or no cost to them.
  • Week-long respite
  • Healing hikes
  • Community events
  • Transportation is the family's responsibility, with assistance provided upon check-in
  • 100% volunteer run, with no paid staff
  • Accepts donations of food, snacks, meals, recreational activities, free or reduced admission tickets, and visa cards

Eligibility

Minimum of 30% combat injured veterans from any post September 11, 2001 military operation or Warrior Transition Unit member

Disabilities access

Handicap accessible cabin, ground floor, wide doorways, roll-in shower.
