Dial-A-Ride provides pre-scheduled, curb-to-curb/door to door transportation service in Rapid City operated by the Rapid Transit System.
Riders must be pre-approved before scheduling a ride. Please see application information below for details.
Dial-A-Ride operates within the city limits of Rapid City, including the airport.

Disabilities access
Accessible parking, route, entrance, and restrooms. Dial-A-Ride will attempt to accommodate scooters and other mobility devices that do not exceed the maximum lift capacity of 800 pounds in total weight when occupied. It is the passenger's choice to transfer or remain in their mobility device.

Application Process
All riders must first complete an application, including information provided by a health care worker, and return the completed application to Dial a Ride. Approval may take up to three weeks before being able to use the service. Qualifications are determined by guidelines set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Application forms can be picked up at the Rapid Transit office, via mail (please call), or download from the website.
