Program Information
Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI) provides a continuum of rehabilitation services for people with short- and long-term conditions, injuries and disabilities in communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The goal is to improve health outcomes, make it easier for clients and families to get the right services for their needs, and reduce costs by preventing complications. Some of CKRI programs include:- Brain injury rehabilitation - Helping patients learn new skills to help manage many of the symptoms of brain injury.
- Cancer rehabilitation - Addresses needs at each stage of treatment, helping patients cope with the effects of cancer and its treatment.
- Chronic pain services - Comprehensive outpatient pain management services.
- Comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation - Hospital-based rehabilitation program for those who require close medical monitoring and management of medical conditions.
- Comprehensive stroke rehabilitation program - Evidence-based treatments support individuals who have had a stroke as they regain daily living skills and become as independent as possible.
- Courage Kenny Kids - Offering physical and occupational therapy and speech-language pathology.
- Courage Kenny Spine Centers - Provides specialized, nonsurgical treatment for low back and neck pain.
- Spinal Cord Rehabilitation - Offers inpatient and outpatient services for persons with a spinal cord injury.
- Occupational and physical therapy and speech-language pathology - Providing clinic based outpatient rehabilitation therapy.
