Adult Education/GED/ESL Program at Rapid City - E. Watertown Street
Program Information
Adult Education is for individuals 18 and older and provides GED preparation, adult basic education for individuals preparing for the entrance exam into a college or university and English as a Second Language for individuals whose first language is not English. The Adult Education grant provides funding to cover all costs of adult education. The only cost students incur is when they are ready to sit for the GED exams, of which there are four including math, reading, science and social studies, at a cost of $50.00 per subtest.
Offerings include a robust career transitions program that assists in finding a pathway with college credit or industry recognized, stackable credentials to assist students in upskilling and a course in preparation for the citizenship exam each summer.

Open to those 18 years of age and older

Required Documents
Students will be asked to provide their social security number and they need to produce a state issued photo identification card (Driver's License, Tribal ID, or Passport).
Application Process
Orientation are held every Thursday at 9:00am. Please be to the CLC by 8:50am.
