Program Information

Independent federal law enforcement agency tasked with enforcing the anti-discrimination employment laws through investigation, outreach and training.

Individuals wishing to file charges of discrimination are encouraged to use the online system. For individuals who would require an interpreter or live outside the Chicago commuting area, a telephone interview can be arranged by calling (866) 408-8075. Please say and spell your first and last name, the number where you can be reached between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm and provide an email address if you have one.

The link to the On Line System to begin the charge filing process is https://publicportal.eeoc.gov. A charge has not been filed until you have been asked to sign under penalty of perjury.
