We are looking for mission-driven, caring individuals who are interested in joining our dedicated team. The Suicide Loss and Support Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are to coordinate after care programming including providing grief support to family and friends who have lost someone to suicide. The Suicide Loss and Support Coordinator will assist in facilitating suicide prevention education and interventions.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in social services or related field
- Demonstrated interest in human services
- Public speaking experience
- Experience working with suicide survivors or personal experience with a suicide loss
- Experience with crisis/suicide situations/grief recovery
- Strong oral and written English language skills
- Working knowledge of computers and software programs

The 211 Helpline Specialist is responsible for providing quality customer service to people requesting information and referral assistance and crisis support through 211. This includes 211 programing, suicide and crisis support services, texting, emails, contract services and other Helpline services. This is a full-time exempt position with day/evening/weekend shifts and may include coverage of holidays and on-call.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field
- Demonstrated interest/skills in human services
- Strong oral and written English language skills
- Working knowledge of computers and software programs, proficient keyboarding skills

The Data Entry and Outreach Specialist is responsible for data entry with the Resource Database department, accurately updating resource data. As the Outreach Specialist for the Older Adult Outreach program, the position will provide care coordination and support to older adults enrolled in the follow-up program.

- Demonstrated interest in human services

Mental Health Counselors provide evidence-informed crisis intervention, brief supportive counseling, suicide prevention, information & referral and follow-up services to individuals who contact the Helpline Center through 988 in emotional distress, with substance use issues or with suicidal ideation. Counselors interact with clients by telephone, SMS text messaging, and/or web chat. The position provides an opportunity to practice a wide range of clinical skills, and knowledge of the expanding field of behavioral health.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required.
- Additional experienceworking in mental health counseling or mental health crisis strongly preferred.
- Applicants must be comfortableworking independently and as part of a team in a collegial group environment.
- Strong oral and written language skills
- Working knowledge of computers and software programs, proficient keyboarding skills

Overnight 988 Mental Health Counselor (Full-time, Sioux Falls)
This is an ideal position for individuals who are interested in helping others and making a contribution to their community. Mental Health Counselors provide evidence informed crisis intervention, brief supportive counseling, suicide prevention, information & referral and follow-up services to individuals who contact the Helpline Center through 988 in emotional distress, with substance use issues or with suicidal ideation. Counselors interact with clients by telephone, SMS text messaging, and/or web chat. The position provides an opportunity to practice a wide range of clinical skills, and knowledge of the expanding field of behavioral health.
Schedule: 10:00 pm - 8:00 am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
*This role is eligible to be remote. Applicants must be located in South Dakota or a surrounding state.
Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field required
- Additional experience working in mental health counseling or mental health crisis strongly preferred.

The 988 Peer Support Specialist is responsible for providing non-clinical, strengths-based support to individuals experiencing or recovering from mental health and/or substance use problems.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field.
- Demonstrated interest/skills in helping others achieve recovery goals.
- Minimum of two years in recovery from a lived experience with mental health and/or substance use.
- Strong oral and written English language skills.
- Working knowledge of computers and software programs, proficient keyboarding skills.
- Offers of employment contingent upon acceptable background check.
Hours: 8 to 12 hours/week. Hours are between 10am-10pm weekdays/weekends.
