988 Mental Health Counselor (Full-time, Overnights)
This is an ideal position for individuals who are interested in helping others and making a contribution to their community. Mental Health Counselors provide evidence informed crisis intervention, brief supportive counseling, suicide prevention, information & referral and follow-up services to individuals who contact the Helpline Center through 988 in emotional distress, with substance use issues or with suicidal ideation. Counselors interact with clients by telephone, SMS text messaging, and/or web chat. The position provides an opportunity to practice a wide range of clinical skills, and knowledge of the expanding field of behavioral health. The position will work four ten-hour days.
*Shift times: 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, qualifies for overnight shift differential
*$1,000 sign-on bonus
*This position can be remote (must be a South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, or North Dakota resident)

The Data Support Specialist provides support to the multi-disciplinary Nexus SD team and Integration Manager in data management, analysis, data quality, visualizations, integrations, testing, and reporting. This will involve investigating data quality, recognizing trends, and identifying opportunities for improvements in program and user processes. The ideal candidate would have a knowledge and understanding of relational database systems, data analytics, data visualization tools, CRM software, referral systems, and possess the ability to learn new and complex technology/software quickly.
Job Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related degree in any field with a strong interest in technology and the social services sector.
- Software administration and database management experience is preferred
- Data visualization experience in Tableau and/or PowerBI is preferred

Volunteer Connections Coordinator is responsible for the programming and operations of the Sioux Empire Volunteer Connections Program. This role serves as a clearinghouse for volunteer referrals, provides supports to community agency partners, and is an advocate for volunteer issues. The Volunteer Connections Coordinator will also be responsible for Volunteer of the Month and the annual Sioux Falls Spirit of Volunteerism Awards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with social service agencies/community services/volunteer organizations desired
