The American Red Cross works in partnership with Military Aid Societies to provide financial assistance to eligible applicants. Assistance can include funds for emergency travel, burial of a loved one, emergency food and shelter, etc. The Aid Societies determine the financial assistance package that will be offered through a grant or a loan.

Primarily provides food to those in need. Also provides the following when available - gas cards, clothing, diapers, personal hygiene items, and cleaning supplies.

Provides financial assistance for gas cards for medical appointments, medication co-pays, medical supplies, food, etc. Also provides advocacy and mentoring services. If an application is approved to receive assistance, payment is made directly to the medical clinic, pharmacy, or business that holds the bill.
