Connects people to prevention, treatment, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and recovery support services that are safe, effective, evidence-based, and culturally grounded as reflected in the motto: Wous da Owicayakiye Kte - Help one another with compassion.

• Couteau Des Prairies Hospital will provide emergency, acute medical detoxification services for those requiring these services. A Dakotah Pride Center staff member will provide transportation for detoxification services and a staff counselor will provide motivational counseling for clients who are undergoing detoxification to seek treatment through Dakotah Pride Treatment Center.

• Screening, assessment, intervention, and treatment placement by qualified/certified CD Counselors are available by appointment.

• Outpatient treatment services are provided for individuals who meet the admission criteria. The objectives of the program are to provide treatment for individuals who require therapeutic and supportive counseling and referral services while living independently, who may have completed inpatient treatment previously but relapsed, or for whom residential treatment is not otherwise possible. The program meets three times a week in three hour long sessions for six weeks.
