Offers access to resources such as training, videos, curricula, and books on topics surrounding the issues of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and violence related issues. Training and resources are offered around mental health first aid and suicide prevention. Provides services to 21 counties in the N.E. region of South Dakota.

Also, has DisposeRX packets available, which is a home disposal solution for prescriptions. A person just adds warm water into the pill bottle and empties the packet in the bottle as well. Shake it up for 30 seconds and dispose. Available to anyone in the 21 counties in the N.E. region of South Dakota (the HSA coverage area).

Health Connect of South Dakota:

• Strives to provide all South Dakotans access to qualitative, authenticated, independent sources of health information.
• Provides South Dakotans with free up-to-date health information on a variety of medical and safety issues. As needed, information and referrals to other organizations who may have additional pertinent information is available along with information on support groups and national agencies.
• Manages the Sioux Empire Coalition and the Sioux Empire Coalition for Youth and Young Adults and provides facilitation for various evidence based health programs.

The SEPRC works with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through program development and training.

Offers a 12-hour diversion class for individuals aged 17 - 20 years, designed for individuals who may be making high-risk choices and aim to change drinking and drug use behaviors.

The Tobacco Prevention Resource Center focuses on reducing disease, disability, and death related to tobacco use by preventing the initiation of tobacco use among young people, promoting quitting among youth and adults, eliminating nonsmokers' exposure to environmental tobacco smoke, and identifying and eliminating the disparities related to tobacco use and its effects among different population groups. Facilitation of tobacco prevention services are available through services such as an online website which includes tobacco resource library holdings, technical assistance for program development, tobacco resource library, and assistance to the medical and faith communities in the development of tobacco policies. Resources include brochures, posters, videos, display items, reference books, and program ideas. The TPRC also provides technical assistance on prevention activities to schools, professionals, community groups, parents, and youth.
