First Connection: For those who have recently diagnosed with cancer, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has provided the opportunity to speak with someone who's been through treatment and learned how to manage the same disease. The Patti Robinson Kaufmann First Connection Program is a peer-to-peer program that matches newly diagnosed patients and their families with trained volunteers who have been touched firsthand by a blood cancer and shared similar experiences.

Online Chats: Live, weekly online chats provide a friendly forum to share experiences and chat with others about anything from the initial phase of diagnosis to treatment and survivorship. Each chat is moderated by an oncology social worker and is password-protected. The online chats are not a replacement for psychotherapy or support groups.
