Food Distribution provides food packages to low-income families in Marshall, Day and Roberts counties, and also to Tribal members in surrounding counties.

- LTUC assists and provides water and sewer services to individual homes throughout Lake Traverse Tribal Land

- Tribal Roads provides snow removal/ice control in the winter months also constructs and maintains all tribal roads and individual homeowners driveways which includes the 7 districts.

South Dakotans age 60 and older who have an approved application will receive a monthly box of food, at no cost, containing at minimum: 2-lb block of cheese (fresh), juice, shelf-stable or powdered milk, cereal, canned fruits, canned vegetables, pasta or rice, a canned meat or entree such as beef stew or chili (menus change monthly).

Senior Box Program at Watertown - 621 4th Street S.E.
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a USDA food assistance program to eligible senior citizens through the Salvation Army and the Food Service Center. CSFP works to improve the health of low-income people at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA commodity foods.
Those eligible will receive a commodity box once a month for a year. The package includes a variety of food including cereals, canned meat, canned fruits, instant milk, peanut butter, instant potatoes, and pasta products.
