The Helpline Center’s Volunteer Connections Program provides the community with ways to connect with volunteer opportunities as well as offer non-profit organizations volunteer recruitment assistance and support for volunteer managers.

Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet new friends, help others and make a difference in the community. The Helpline Center is here to assist you in finding an opportunity that is fun and fulfilling for you and beneficial to the community.

Brookings Volunteer of the Month

Volunteer Management Training
Volunteer Management Training Series will be held on June 15-16, 2017.  To register for the training  go to: https://brookingsvolunteertraining.eventbrite.com. The training will help nonprofits better manage volunteers for more effective results! Increase volunteer recruitment, retention and productivity.

The Helpline Center can connect you with opportunities to volunteer in our area. We keep an updated list of over 350 ways to volunteer at local nonprofit organizations, and can connect you with volunteer opportunities that match your interests and the time you have to give.

Corporate Projects and Partnerships
Free consultation is also available for companies wanting to develop an employee volunteer program or day of service.

Nonprofit Support
In addition, the Helpline Center offers an array of support services to nonprofit organizations that utilize volunteers, including educational classes and information on volunteer management.
