SALSA appreciates the support and opportunities provided by the Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club. SALSA is the LEO Club for the Downtown Lions. The Downtown Lions adopted the SALSA group as its LEO Club five years ago, and it is currently the largest LEO Club in the world.
The Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club hosts an Annual Recognition Luncheon to honor SALSA members for being exceptional youth volunteers, giving two students $500 college scholarships and honoring one youth as the LEO of The Year Award nominee for its district. Three SALSA youth have won this international award! The Lions also help with special annual events like Make A Difference Day and the Youth Vision Workshop.
