The HELP!Line Center will be introducing our new website to the community on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Nonprofit Center at 11:30am.  Come learn how our new website makes it easier for individuals in the Sioux Empire to search for child care providers, volunteer opportunities, and resources. 

Every year, thousands of Sioux Empire Residents call the 211 HELP!Line.  Now Sioux Empire Residents can also search for resources, volunteer opportunities and child care providers on the HELP!Line Center's new website:  www.helplinecenter.org.

 

The website has three databases available:

• Child Care Database: The NEW online Child Care database makes it easy for parents to search for child care centers or in-home providers that will meet their family's needs.  The database has more than 300 Lincoln County and Minnehaha County Child Care providers.  
  

• 211 Database: The 211 database provides quick and easy access to information about health and human services.  This database has more than 7,000 programs.  The 211 database has information about food, shelter, clothing, substance abuse programs, youth programs, counseling services, and so much more.

• Volunteer Database:  The HELP!Line Center helps more than 150 Sioux Empire agencies find volunteers to meet their needs.  Individuals can search more than 350 volunteer opportunities and find an opportunity that matches their interests, schedule, and skills.
