Make A Difference Day - October 24, 2009
SALSA members participated in two projects for Make A Difference Day. 47 members volunteered through Rake the Town and Habitat for Humanity. They served a combined 133.75 hours!
SALSA's 10th Birthday Party
On August 28, 2009 at the Washingtion Pavilion, SALSA held a 10th Birthday Party to kickoff the year. A short program was held complete with a mariachi band and a birthday cake. Aftwards, SALSA members were able to enjoy the Kirby Science Center as well as take in movie at the Cinedome. Below are a few pictures of the party.
Second Chance Rescue Center
On September 26, 2009, SALSA members served at the Second Chance Rescue Center for a day with the animals! 83 SALSA members volunteered 180 hours on Saturday!
